Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and day there are signs for people of reason. (3:190)

(They are) those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth (and pray), “Our Lord! You have not created (all of) this without purpose. Glory be to You! Protect us from the torment of the Fire. (3:191)

Our Lord! Indeed, those You commit to the Fire will be (completely) disgraced! And the wrongdoers will have no helpers. (3:192)

Our Lord! We have heard the caller to (true) belief, (proclaiming,) ‘Believe in your Lord (alone),’ so we believed. Our Lord! Forgive our sins, absolve us of our misdeeds, and allow us ˹each˺ to die as one of the virtuous. (3:193)

Our Lord! Grant us what You have promised us through Your messengers and do not put us to shame on Judgment Day—for certainly You never fail in Your promise.” (3:194)

So their Lord responded to them: “I will never deny any of you—male or female—the reward of your deeds. Both are equal in reward. Those who migrated or were expelled from their homes, and were persecuted for My sake and fought and (some) were martyred—I will certainly forgive their sins and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow, as a reward from Allah. And with Allah is the finest reward!” (3:195)

Do not be deceived by the prosperity of the disbelievers throughout the land. (3:196)

It is only a brief enjoyment. Then Hell will be their home—what an evil place to rest! (3:197)

But those who are mindful of their Lord will be in Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever—as an accommodation from Allah. And what is with Allah is best for the virtuous. (3:198)

Indeed, there are some among the People of the Book who truly believe in Allah and what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to them. They humble themselves before Allah—never trading Allah’s revelations for a fleeting gain. Their reward is with their Lord. Surely Allah is swift in reckoning. (3:199)

O believers! Patiently endure, persevere, stand on guard, and be mindful of Allah, so you may be successful. (3:200)

En vérité, dans la création des cieux et de la terre, et dans l’alternance de la nuit et du jour, il y a certes des signes pour les doués d’intelligence, (3 :190)

qui, debout, assis, couchés sur leurs côtés, invoquent Allah et méditent sur la création des cieux et de la terre (disant) : « Notre Seigneur ! Tu n’as pas créé cela en vain. Gloire à Toi ! Protège-nous du châtiment du Feu. (3 :191)

Notre Seigneur ! Quiconque Tu fais entrer dans le Feu, Tu le couvres vraiment d’ignominie. Et pour les injustes, il n’y a pas de secoureurs ! (3 :192)

Notre Seigneur ! Nous avons entendu l’appel de celui qui a appelé ainsi à la foi : "Croyez en votre Seigneur !", et dès lors nous avons cru. Notre Seigneur ! Pardonne-nous nos péchés, efface de nous nos méfaits, et place nous, à notre mort, avec les pieux. (3 :193)

Notre Seigneur ! Accorde-nous ce que Tu nous as promis par Tes messagers, et ne nous couvre pas d’ignominie le Jour de la Résurrection. Certes, Tu ne manques jamais à Ta promesse ». (3 :194)

Leur Seigneur les a alors exaucés (disant) : "Je ne laisse pas perdre l’œuvre de celui qui agit parmi vous, homme ou femme ; car vous êtes les uns des autres. Ceux donc qui ont émigré, qui ont été expulsés de leurs demeures, qui ont été persécutés dans Mon chemin, qui ont combattu, qui ont été tués, Je tiendrai certes pour expiées leurs mauvaises actions, et Je les ferai certes entrer dans des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, comme récompense de la part d’Allah." Quant à Allah, c’est auprès de Lui qu’est la plus belle récompense. (3 :195)

Que ne t’abuse point la versatilité [pour la prospérité] dans le pays, de ceux qui sont infidèles. (3 :196)

Piètre jouissance ! Puis leur refuge sera l’Enfer. Et quelle détestable couche ! (3 :197)

Mais quant à ceux qui craignent leur Seigneur, ils auront des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les rivières, où ils demeureront éternellement, un lieu d’accueil de la part d’Allah. Et ce qu’il y a auprès d’Allah est meilleur pour les pieux. (3 :198)


Il y a certes, parmi les gens du Livre ceux qui croient en Allah et en ce qu’on a fait descendre vers vous et en ce qu’on a fait descendre vers eux. Ils sont humbles envers Allah et ne vendent point les versets d’Allah à vil prix. Voilà ceux dont la récompense est auprès de leur Seigneur. Certes, Allah est prompt à faire les comptes. (3 :199)

Ô les croyants ! Soyez endurants, incitez-vous à l’endurance. Luttez constamment (contre l’ennemi) et craignez Allah, afin que vous réussissiez ! (3 :200)
