ʿAtā b. As-Sā’ib narrated that his father said: “ʿAmmār b. Yāsir (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) led us in prayer and he made it brief. Some of the people said to him: ‘You made the prayer short (or brief).’ He said: ‘Nevertheless I still recited supplications that I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.’ When he got up and left, a man- he was my father but he did not name himself- followed him and asked him about that supplication, then he came and told the people [the above].” (Nasā’ī 1305)
ʿAṭā b. as-Sā’ib berichtete, dass sein Vater sagte: „ʿAmmār b. Yāsir (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) leitete uns im Gebet und hielt es kurz. Einige Leute sagten zu ihm: ‚Du hast das Gebet kurz gehalten.‘ Er antwortete: ‚Dennoch habe ich die Bittgebete rezitiert, die ich vom Gesandten Allahs ﷺ gehört habe.‘ Als er aufstand und ging, folgte ihm ein Mann – es war mein Vater, aber er nannte seinen Namen nicht – und fragte ihn nach diesem Bittgebet. Dann kam er zurück und erzählte den Leuten [das oben Genannte].“(Nasā’ī 1305)

And for You Alone is all praise; You are the Truth, Your promise is the truth, and Your speech is the truth. The meeting with You is the truth, Paradise is the truth, and Hell-Fire is the truth. The Final Hour is the truth, the Prophets are the truth and Muhammad  is the truth. O Allah, I surrender myself to You Alone, I put my trust in You Alone, and I believe in You Alone. I turn to You Alone, I complain of my opponents to You Alone and I refer judgement to You Alone. So forgive me for what I have done in the past and for what I am yet to do, for what I have done privately and for what I have done publicly. You are the One who brings forward and the One who puts behind, and there is no god worthy of worship except You.

Rifa'a az-Zurqi (radiyAllāhu anhu) narrates; "In the Battle of Uhud when the idolaters retreated, the Messenger of Allāh, may Allāh bless him and grant him peace, said, 'Form straight ranks so that I can praise my Almighty Lord.' They formed in ranks behind him. He said, 'O Allāh, all praise is due to You. O Allāh, none can contract what You expand nor bring near what you put far away. None can put far away what You bring near. None can give what You withhold nor withhold what You give. O Allāh, grant us Your blessings, mercy, grace and provision in abundance! O Allah, I ask You for the abiding blessing which is neither changed nor removed. O Allāh, I ask You for blessing on the Day of Utter Poverty and security on the Day of Fear (i.e. Day of Judgement) O Allah, I seek Your protection from the evil of what You have granted us and the evil of what You have withheld from us. O Allāh, make us love belief and adorn our hearts with it. Make us hate disbelief, deviance and rebellion. Place us among the rightly-guided. O Allāh, make us die Muslims and make us live as Muslims and join us to the rightly, acting, who are neither humiliated or tested. O Allāh, fight the unbelievers who bar your path and who deny Your Messengers. Place You abasement and punishment over them. O Allah, fight the unbelievers who were given the Book, O Lord of Truth!'"(Al Adab Al Mufrad 699)
