Abu Umāmah (RadiAllahu anhu) narrates:
A young man approached the Prophet ﷺ and requested permission to commit zina (fornication). The people around him rebuked him, but the Prophet ﷺ called him closer and asked him to sit. He then inquired, "Would you like this for your mother?" The young man replied, "No, by Allāh, may I be sacrificed for you." The Prophet ﷺ responded, "Nor do people like it for their mothers." He asked the same question about his daughter, sister, paternal aunt, and maternal aunt, to which the young man gave the same reply. The Prophet ﷺ then placed his hand on the young man's chest and prayed, "O Allāh, forgive his sin, purify his heart, and protect his chastity." After this, the young man never looked at anything with desire again.(Ahmad 22211)
حضرت ابو امامہ رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں:ایک نوجوان رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور کہنے لگا:"یا رسول اللہ! مجھے زنا کی اجازت دے دیجئے۔"یہ سن کر لوگ اس کی طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور اسے ڈانٹنے لگے، کہنے لگے: "چپ کرو، چپ!"(یعنی ایسا نہ کہو!)لیکن رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:"اسے قریب آنے دو۔"وہ قریب آیا اور آپ ﷺ کے بالکل قریب بیٹھ گیا۔پھر آپ ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا:"کیا تم یہ (زنا) اپنی ماں کے لیے پسند کرو گے؟"اس نے کہا: "نہیں، اللہ کی قسم! آپ پر میری جان قربان ہو"آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:"اسی طرح لوگ بھی اپنی ماؤں کے لیے یہ پسند نہیں کرتے۔"پھر آپ ﷺ نے پوچھا:"کیا تم یہ اپنی بیٹی کے لیے پسند کرو گے؟"اس نے کہا: "نہیں، اللہ کی قسم! میری جان آپ پر قربان ہو۔"آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:"لوگ بھی اپنی بیٹیوں کے لیے یہ پسند نہیں کرتے۔"پھر پوچھا:"کیا تم یہ اپنی بہن کے لیے پسند کرو گے؟"اس نے کہا: "نہیں، اللہ کی قسم! آپ پر میری جان قربان ہو "آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:"لوگ بھی اپنی بہنوں کے لیے یہ پسند نہیں کرتے۔"پھر فرمایا:"کیا تم یہ اپنی پھوپھی کے لیے پسند کرو گے؟"اس نے کہا:نہیں، اللہ کی قسم! آپ پر میری جان قربان ہو،"آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:"لوگ بھی اپنی پھوپیوں کے لیے یہ پسند نہیں کرتے۔"پھر پوچھا:"کیا تم یہ اپنی خالہ کے لیے پسند کرو گے؟"اس نے کہا: "نہیں، اللہ کی قسم! آپ پر میری جان قربان ہو,"آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:"لوگ بھی اپنی خالاؤں کے لیے یہ پسند نہیں کرتے۔"پھر نبی ﷺ نے اپنا دستِ مبارک اس نوجوان پر رکھا اور یہ دعا فرمائی:"اے اللہ! اس کا گناہ معاف فرما، اس کا دل پاک کر دے، اور اس کی شرمگاہ کی حفاظت فرما۔"راوی کہتے ہیں:اس واقعے کے بعد وہ نوجوان کبھی کسی ایسی چیز کی طرف مائل نہیں ہوا (یعنی زنا یا فحاشی کی طرف رغبت نہیں کی)(احمد)

Rifa'a az-Zurqi (radiyAllāhu anhu) narrates; "In the Battle of Uhud when the idolaters retreated, the Messenger of Allāh, may Allāh bless him and grant him peace, said, 'Form straight ranks so that I can praise my Almighty Lord.' They formed in ranks behind him. He said, 'O Allāh, all praise is due to You. O Allāh, none can contract what You expand nor bring near what you put far away. None can put far away what You bring near. None can give what You withhold nor withhold what You give. O Allāh, expand to us some of Your blessings, mercy and favour and give us provision! O Allah, I ask You for the abiding blessing which is neither changed nor removed. O Allāh, I ask You for blessing on the Day of Utter Poverty and security on the Day of Fear. O Allāh, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what You give us. O Allāh, make us love belief and adorn our hearts with it. Make us hate disbelief, deviance and rebellion. Place us among the rightly-guided. O Allāh, make us die Muslims and make us live as Muslims and join us to the rightly, acting, who are neither disappointed nor afflicted. O Allāh, fight the unbelievers who bar your path and who deny Your Messengers. Place You abasement and punishment over them. O Allah, fight the unbelievers who were given the Book, O Lord of Truth!'"
یہ دعا حضرت عبید بن رفاعہ الزرقی کے والد سے مروی ہے، جنہوں نے کہفرمایا: جب اُحد کے دن مشرکین پیچھے ہٹ گئے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "سیدھے ہو جاؤ تاکہ میں اپنے رب کی تعریف بیان کروں۔" لوگ آپ ﷺ کے پیچھے صفوں میں کھڑے ہو گئے، پھر آپ ﷺ نے یہ دعا فرمائی:"یا اللہ! تمام تعریفیں تیرے ہی لیے ہیں۔یا اللہ! تو جسے کچھ عطا کرنا چاہے، اسے کوئی روک نہیں سکتااور جس سے تو کچھ روک لے، اسے کوئی عطا نہیں کر سکتاتو جسے قریب کرے، اسے کوئی دور نہیں کر سکتا،اور جسے دور کرے، اسے کوئی قریب نہیں کر سکتااور جس کو تُو روک لے، اُسے کوئی دے نہیں سکتا، اور جسے تُو دے دے، اُسے کوئی روک نہیں سکت یا اللہ! ہم پر اپنی برکت، رحمت، فضل اور رزق کھول دے۔یا اللہ! میں تجھ سے وہ نعمت مانگتا ہوں جو ہمیشہ قائم رہے، جو نہ کبھی بدلے /ختم ہو نہ زائل ہو۔یا اللہ! میں تجھ سے تنگ دستی کے دن میں نعمت مانگتا ہوں، اور جنگ کے دن امن مانگتا ہوں۔یا اللہ! ہمیں اُن چیزوں کے شر سے بچا جو تُو نے ہمیں دی ہیں،اور اُن چیزوں کے شر سے بھی بچا جو تُو نے ہم سے روک لی ہیں۔ (الادب المفرد)
