We should try to recite them with understanding, conviction (yaqīn) and the presence of the heart, before going to sleep every night. If we cannot recite them all, we should be consistent with at least some of them. The Prophets of Allah were the best of men to have walked upon this earth. None worshipped Allah as they did. None knew Him like they did. And none called upon Him as they did. Each duʿā’ is a masterclass in its own right of how to make duʿā’. The duʿās of the Prophets are the perfect embodiment of servitude (ʿubūdiyyah) and humility. They contain the blueprint for how a human’s relationship with his Lord should be. Their concise yet comprehensive duʿās encompass everything a human being will ever require for success in this world, and more importantly the eternal life in the hereafter, inshāAllah.
